At Seetec Outsource we aim to transform the lives of our ESOL learners by providing them with socially and personally-led qualifications that increase their knowledge and skill level in the English language, Voting system, Criminal Justice System, Mental Well-being, Money Management and PREVENT community awareness. We also include enrichment days out of centre to visit local landmarks in the City Centre, such as the library (to gain a library card) and various museums to build their British culture knowledge.
We are based at Spaces, Peter House near the Central Manchester Library. However, we provide mainly online provision to support the country’s current situation. Having said that, I have recently acquired a Promethean Board that will allow for simultaneous teaching to support learners who wish to venture out of their homes to learn or stay within the comfort of their own home.
We deliver a range of English-led courses (Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening) and vocational courses (British Values & PREVENT, Mental Well-being, Living & Working in the UK and Employability Skills). We also provide progressional routes into Health & Social Care, Warehouse & Storage and Business Administration.
We cater for all levels (Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3, Level 1 and Level 2). We do recommend all ESOL learners to be at Level 1 in all areas of ESOL before progressing onto our additional vocational courses. Our learners can achieve qualifications at all levels of ESOL, Entry Level 3 in our ESOL vocational courses and Level 1 or 2 in our additional vocational qualifications.
As previously mentioned we support our ESOL learners with additional internal vocational courses or supply them with information regarding higher level learning opportunities in and round Manchester, as well as point them in the right direction of local employment opportunities.
